A lady who tried smuggling some contraband goods for the use of her fiancé on remand has been arrested and would soon be arraigned before court. The Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources has indicated that its preliminary investigation indicates that the family of the late Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie is contesting his will in court. The Ministry after the will leaked on social media said it was investigating to ascertain the veracity of portions of the will that allotted lands in the Achimota Forest and Sakumono Ramsar site to his family members. Personnel under the Nations Builders Corps (NABCO) say they are owed seven months by the government. It could be remembered that the Government of Ghana ordered that NABCO personnel should stay put and not leave although the programme had ended. In a video sighted on social media, a woman has been seen attacked by armed robbers at Dansoman Exhibition behind All brothers bookshop. Two men on a motorbike attacked the woman who was seen walking majestically to her home. The two men moved past the woman, turned around and attacked her for her handbag. Although the woman tried to fight back, she was overpowered by one of the men on the motorbike who took her handbag away. Family of the late Psalm Adjetefio has announced the date for the final funeral rites of the actor. According to the family, he will be buried on June 7, 2022. The funeral rites will take place at the Forecourt of Defunct Ghana international Trade Fair La – Accra. Psalm Adjetefio died on April 8, 2022 from an undisclosed illness.
