Hassan Ayariga reveals a plan by 10 minority parties to unseat Akufo-Addo
Founder of the All People’s Congress (APC) Dr. Hassan Ayariga has revealed that ten(10) minority political parties are planning to form an alliance to unseat President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his party New Patriotic Party (NPP).
“What we intend doing is that we’ve gotten ten political parties to form an alliance to form one big party”, Dr. Hassan Ayariga hinted on Joy News monitored by MyNewsGh.com.
He explained further saying that “among the political parties every party will elect a flagbearer and these ten flagbearers will go into a contest to elect one flagbearer among them and stand for the alliance party to go into the election”.
The ten political parties include the Convention People’s Party (CPP), the Liberal Party of Ghana(LPG), and the National Democratic Party (NDP) among others.
According to Dr. Hassan Ayariga, the idea of joining forces together as political parties have become necessary because the current government is a none performing adding that, Ghanaians are disappointed in President Akufo-Addo.
“LPG, GUM, CPP, PNC, NDP, we will put all of them together. He (referring to Kofi Akpaloo of the LPG) is talking to some and I’m also talking to some. That is what we intend to do. We are expecting 10 parties coming together so that we can have three parties in the coming election that is the NDC, NPP and the alliance party”. Hassan Ayariga said.
