He says some health workers have had to expose themselves to potential COVID-19 carriers without taking the necessary precautions, because either the patient or family members who take them to the hospital would not open up about their travel history until the very last minute. Health workers at the Afrikids Medical Centre in Bolgatanga took to caution and virtually failed to attend to a patient who visited the facility with suspected case of COVID-19 due to lack of Personal Protective Equipments.
