Ghanaian sprinter Benjamin Azamati has missed out on the 100m semifinals at the ongoing 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The circuit court in Bolgatanga presided over by His Honour Malcolm Bedzrah slapped in general damages an amount of GH¢30,000.00 and a cost of GH¢10,000 against the five leaders for defaming the Paramount Chief of the Talensi Traditional Area Tongraan Naab Kugbilson Nalebegtang. This word of caution was issued by Captain Godsbrain Blessed Smart who says he has information that some Pastors have gone for Juju to take the “shine’ off some musicians in the country. He indicated that these Pastors have buried dogs, cows, cats and other animals under their platforms and therefore spells doom for these gospel artistes a higher percentage who he believes are not spiritual. “Some nine Pastors have gone for juju and will be using it. In the month of September, October, November all gospel artistes should be careful, where they perform. The one in Madina has buried a cat, some have buried dogs, cows. She is Ghana’s triple jump record holder with her 14.33 meters jump in 2019 in Jamaica. Eke has hinted she wants to quit the sport after the Olympics after winning gold at the 2016 Durban African Championships and silver in 2014 at the same competition in Marrakech. This is too bad. The President of Ghana has been caught on camera several times either sleeping or trying to doze off whiles events are ongoing. His wife in the past had indicated that the President loses sleep at night because he wants to ensure that the transformational agenda he has for Ghana is on course.
