V/R: Coconut seller dies after been struck by lightning

Reports from the Volta Region indicate that a coconut seller has been struck by lightning on Monday, May 30, 2022.

The sad incident is said to have happened in the Volta Regional capital of Ho.

The young man was said to have been plying his usual trade opposite the Regional office of ECG when the thunderstruck when a light rain was falling.

Two others were affected by the lightning and were transported to the hospital by the Ghana Ambulance Service, however, the deceased whose name was not given was left behind.

Some grief-stricken bystanders said they were scared of touching body, because of the superstitious nature of the incident.

A Ghanaian homosexual, Alex Kofi Donkor says there are a number of his colleagues in Ghana but the hate in society has made it difficult for them to open up about their sexuality.
