High Court injuncts NPP Central Regional Executive Elections

A Cape Coast Court has granted an injunction to prevent the New Patriotic Party (NPP) from holding its regional elections to elect regional leaders in the Central Region.

The NPP was expected told its Regional Elections in the Central Region on May 27, 2022.

But an Injunction by the High Court will halt the process.

The case was brought before the High Court by 5 plaintiffs including Edward Armah, Ransford Bosomtwe, Albert Ackon, Razak Nurudeen and Mahammed Iddrisu.

According to th court document, the court will be moved on June 2, 2022.
