It’s shameful NPP now institutionalising “mafia” in politics – NEIP CEO
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for The National Entrepreneurship & Innovation Programme (NEIP) Kofi Ofosu Nkansah has expressed worry over what he describes as mafia in the ongoing Regional election.
According to him, it is shameful that a party that prides itself with democracy is gradually losing it.
He made this post in respect of what’s going on in the Ashanti Regional Executive Election where some TESCON members have been taken out of the voting list.
Kofi Ofosu Nkansah who made this known in a post shared on Facebook said “Shameful. If we continue to legitimize mafia in the name of it’s part of Politics, we won’t have the NPP we all love anymore. Some of these things must change. No regional executive has the right to choose delegates for Tescon Institutions. It should be left to the Schools to decide who votes for them.
Ashanti Regional NPP Elections:
“Tescon members are making accusations that 37 of their members were taken out of the album and they were not even consulted about who to represent them. They claimed they petitioned but nothing has been done”
The New Patriotic Party is electing its Regional Executives who will lead the party’s agenda of breaking the eight-year cycle of political parties in the country.
