Let’s adopt NPP’s “Family and Friends Dey Chop” governance – Opare Addo advises Mahama

Image
The National Youth Organizer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) George Opare Addo has come under intense criticism. He is on record to have asked the former President of Ghana John Dramani Mahama to maintain the governance style of the New Patriotic Party. The lawyer believes that the NPP has shown the way that there is the need for their people to benefit after labouring to bring the party to power. Therefore there is the need for cronies to be given better opportunities to milk the country whiles people who did not play any role are not given opportunities to benefit. “Supporting the one who is NDC because the NPP has shown us the way. Boss when we win the way they are governing the country let’s do the same thing in terms of appointment. We are not going to change anything. Our people must also benefit. Monkey no go work for baboon to chop. Thank You,” he said at a gathering of the NDC in United States of America. Source: MyNewsGh.com / 2022 Adblock test (Why?)

NDC as an alternative is a bad idea for Ghana – Obiri Boahen explains

Image
Deputy General Secretary for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Nana Obiri Boahen has asked the people of Ghana not to see the National Democratic Congress(NDC) as an alternative. He argues that the largest opposition is made up of self centered individuals who do not have the development of the country at heart. To him, it is evident in the prices for various infrastructure put up by the NDC that they think about just their pockets and not the people of Ghana so there is the need to rethink going into 2024 elections. Obiri Boahen was speaking on Accra-based OKAY FM when he made this known. “Any opportunity I get, I remind the people of Ghana that it will be a disaster for the country Ghana that NDC will be given the opportunity to govern the country.” “They built infrastructure but at what cost? Look at the passage of the e-levy and their opposition to the levy which led to several fisticuffs in Parliament. I’ve told the NPP not to be bothered by the NDC because this is a g...

So there is the need to be grateful to your husband if he does some of these things to ensure life is good for you and your children. Most married women don’t know how to say thank you to their husband, most of them are ungrateful”...

They argued that Article 3(9)(1) of the NPP constitution indicates that: “a Member of the Party, who stands as an independent candidate against the officially elected member of the party, or who joins or declares his or her support for another political party, or for an independent candidate, when the party has sponsored a candidate in a genera...

She continued, “They think of what they can make out of the song within a month or two or three maybe that’s the impression they have about the music industry but that’s not how it is”. Abrewa Nana revealed on Kastle FM in Cape Coast that we often blame Nigerians when our songs don’t go international because our concepts have become ‘one-way’. “So if it happens like that all our concepts become one way and maybe that’s why we can’t go far with our music and we always blame Nigerians,” she concluded. Admittedly, the offer of the 10 concessionary admissions was made without the approval of the General Legal Council but was not done in secrecy.”  The above is a portion of a statement confirmed by MyNewsGh.com to have been issued by embattled former Acting Director of the Ghana Law School, Mr. Maxwell Opoku-Agyemang whose nomination to the Appeals Court has sparked controversy.
