Video: Chris Hughton bids emotional farewell to Black Stars

Former Ghana coach Chris Hughton has said his farewell to the Black Stars following his sacking on Monday.

Hughton was sacked by the Ghana Football Association on Tuesday, after Ghana’s exit from the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations was confirmed.

In a video that has since gone viral, Hughton was seen saying his goodbye to players, technical staff and other GFA staff at the team hotel in Abidjan.

Ghana exited AFCON 2023 at the group stage for the second successive tournament after amassing just two points from three matches.

During his time as Ghana coach, Hughton superintended four wins, five draws and four losses.
