Concerns raised over choice of South Africa for AFCON Camping for Black Stars

Ghanaians are concerned over their choice of camping for the Black Stars ahead of the 2023 African Cup of Nations.

The Black Stars are set to camp in South Africa ahead of the continental showcase in Cote d’Ivoire.

To many Ghanaians, it does not make sense to camp in South Africa when the Black Stars will be playing in neighbouring Cote d’Ivoire.

They indicate that it is a financial burden on the state and should not be countenanced considering the financial burden the country is faced with.

To football enthusiasts, it will make sense for the Black Stars to camp in Ghana since the weather in Ghana is just like that of South Africa and it will prove beneficial to the players.
