Crocked FC! Lisandro Martinez out f 3 for months as United’s injuries pile up
Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has been ruled out of action for up to three months with a foot injury.
The 25-year-old Argentina international was left out of the squad as United beat Crystal Palace 3-0 in the League Cup on Tuesday.
Martinez first fractured a metatarsal in April, keeping him out of taction for the final month of the season.
He made a full recovery at the start of this season but United say the latest issue is “an aggravation” to the injury.
The club said Martinez “experienced the setback in our Premier League game against Arsenal earlier this month”.
Martinez becomes the latest United player to be sidelined with an injury.
United have up to nine first team players our injured including Luke Shaw, and Sergio Reguilon who joined on loan from Tottenham Hotspurs.
