Ajax accept €45m West Ham offer for Mohammed Kudus
West Ham United have reached an agreement with Ajax for the transfer of attacking midfielder, Mohammed Kudus.
On Wednesday, Mynesgh.com reported that the Premier League club have submitted an improved offer to Ajax, with a new clause but with similar financial terms.
The offer then was €41m plus €3m in add-ons (£35m + £2.56m), but with the added incentive of a 10% sell-on clause.
That offer has since been improved to €45m, while the sell on clause has been retained.
Kudus has already agreed a five-year deal with the East London outfit and will undertake a medical on Saturday.
The Ghanaian was expected to join Brighton & Hove Albion in two weeks ago after Ajax accepted an offer from the Premier League club. However, the deal fell through after Brighton failed to agree personal terms with the 23 year-old.
Kudus scored a hat-trick for Ajax in the Europa League Qualifier last night, in what will certainly be his last match for the Dutch club.
The 23-year-old scored 26 goals in 108 matches for the Amsterdam based club.
