Black Stars assistant Didi Dramani watches Medeama’s win over King Faisal
Black Stars assistant coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani continues to monitor players in the local scene ahead of the national team’s 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying games against Madagascar and Central African Republic next month.
He recently attended the Tarkwa Akoon Park to observe league leaders Medeama Sporting Club’s 2-1 victory over relegation-threatened King Faisal Football Club in their 2022/23 Ghana Premier League match of week 32.
This marks the fifth game that Didi Dramani has attended at a local league center in recent times. He watched back-to-back National Division One League games before attending three consecutive matches in the Ghanaian top flight.
In match week 30, he witnessed Samartex 1996’s impressive 3-2 comeback win over Hearts of Oak. In week 31, he watched Bibiani GoldStars secure a 2-0 victory over Tamale City. Most recently, on Friday, he observed Medeama SC’s 2-1 triumph over King Faisal.
The Black Stars technical team will soon announce their squad for the 2023 AFCON qualifiers next month, and several local players will be hoping to earn a spot in the team.
