Nana Acheampong born Ernest Nana Acheampong is a Ghanaian music legend who specializes in Highlife.
Nana Acheampong was a member of the Lumba Brothers which was made up of Charles Kojo Fosu, also known as Daddy Lumba and himself.
Nana Acheampong was born and bred in the Ashanti Region. He is from Abuakwa.

The Highlife Music legend is a product of Kumasi Technical Institute where he was the leader of the school’s band.
Nana Acheampong left Ghana for Germany in the 1980s and played with the Talking Drum Band. He later formed his own band before joining the Lumba Brothers band.
He owns the Owoahene Studio, in Suame Kumasi, where he records his own music as well as produces.
