GHALCA G6: Agyemang Badu misses penalty as Olympics beat Chelsea to face Bechem in final  

The semi-final games of the GHALCA G6 tournament were played at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, August 26. 

Emmanuel Agyemang Badu missed his kick as Great Olympics defeated Berekum Chelsea 7-6 on penalties. 

Olympics will face  Bechem United on Sunday, August 28.

Bechem United 3-2 Medeama SC. 

Bechem United edged Medeama SC 3-2 in the first semi-final to secure their place in the final awaiting the winner from the second semi-final. 

Cephas Mantey scored the opener for Bechem United after 12 minutes into the game before Rishid Nortey pulled parity for Medeama through a penalty kick in the 55th minute. 

Mantey restored the lead for the Hunters two minutes after the hour mark. 

Bechem United captain Kofi Agbesima gave his side a two-goal a goal cushion when he converted a penalty in the 72nd minute. 

Medeama scored a second late in the game through David Kadar but it was not enough to force penalty shoutout, as Bechem United held on to win 3-2. 

Berekum Chelsea 1-1 Great Olympics  

The second semi-final game between Berekum Chelsea and Great Olympics ended 1-1 after 90 minutes and had to be decided on penalties. 

Great Olympics win the marathon penalty shootout 7-6. 

Great Olympics will play Bechem United in the final on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.
