Yammin floors Akamba, Baba Jamal in NDC Organizer online poll

A former Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports now gunning to be National Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress, Joseph Yammin has floored his likely contenders in an online poll.

Mr. Yammin polls 41.2% as against the 26.6% polled by his closest challenger Solomon Nkansah.

Out of 534 respondents, incumbent National Organizer Joshua Hamidu Akamba polled 106 representing 19.85% of the votes.

Baba Jamal, formerly MP for Akwatia polled 9% having managed only 49 votes with Mahdi Jibril Polling 12 votes.

2. Solomon Nkansah :142 votes
3. Joshua Hamidu Akamba : 106
4. Acquinas Tawiah Quansah : 54
5. Jamal Baba : 49
6. Mahdi M. Gibrill : 12

The poll was at the behest of NDC activist Bright Abakosem who is assessing the chances of various persons seeking elective office in the NDC.

In 2018, Joshua Akamba was elected as the National Organiser of the NDC, defeating Baba Jamal and Yaw Boateng Gyan at NDC’s Congress.
