Music isn’t a competition so let’s win together – Stonbwoy talks support

In Ghana, the tendency for a colleague in the same industry to sabotage you in order for him/her to win has become a very worrying phenomenon.

This happens in all industries but the creative arts is one that we often get wind of.

But in a tweet talking about the need for collaborations rather than sabotage, one of Ghana’s leading dancehall artistes Stonebwoy said it’s imperative for creatives to collaborate.

He believes that music especially cannot be bet on so it is not about competition.

Stonebwoy who was making an argument on Twitter for the need to support each other in the creative space said “Music and arts is not a sport, you cannot bet on it.. therefore it doesn’t require competition to determine a winner”.
