Duffour’s 2024 camp swells as Koku declares support; blames Mahama, Asiedu Nketia for NDC destruction

Founder of the Atta Mills Institute and former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress Samuel Koku Anyidoho has finally declared his support for Unibank owner Dr. Kwabena Duffour to lead the party in 2024.

In a series of tweets, Mr. Anyidoho described himself as ready for the kind of leadership Duffour is offering. He joins the likes of Yaw Boateng Gyan, a former National Organizer of the NDC who all believe in Dr. Duffour.

“I am, very ready, for, his level-headed and dignified type of, Service-To-Ghana, Leadership🙏.  May God continue to bless our Homeland Ghana 🇬🇭 🙏 NDC shall not die: Ghana shall not die” he wrote.

Earlier reports had linked National Youth Organizer of the NDC George Opare Addo as pushing Dr. Duffour who is considered his godfather as against John Mahama. He denied this.

Despite this, insiders maintain John Mahama is only tolerating him but does mot trust his leadership of the NDC youth front.

Dr. Duffour’s 2024 agenda is making waves anf could get more votes than earlier expected. John Mahama has openly said he welcomes competition in the NDC internal race.
