Black Queens’ Asantewaa scores for Real Betis Feminas in win over Athletic Club

Ghana’s Grace Asantewaa scored for Real Betis Feminas in their 4-2 win over Athletic Club Sunday at the Ciudad Deportiva Luis Del Sol.

It is the Black Queens midfielder’s third league goal for the Seville-based club in 8 games.

She was subbed off in additional time for Andrea López Núñez to come on.

The win sends Betis to the 8th position in the Spanish Primera Iberdrola with 11 points.

Grace Asantewaa opened the scoring for the hosts just after three minutes of action. She scored off a beautiful play from Betis.

Mari Paz Vilas scored a hat-trick for Betis in the 20th, 30th, and 34th minutes to give her side a 4-0 lead at the break.

Vanesa Gimbert (61st minute) and Oihane Valdezate (64th minute) scored the consolations for Athletic Club.

Asantewaa’s Real Betis will play Real Sociedad on Saturday, November 4 on matchday 9 of the Spanish Primera Iberdrola.
