Ghanaians Dancehall songs sound like afrobeats- Iwan Suhyini shades Stonebwoy

‘Who’s bad’ hitmaker, Iwan Suhyini born Abdul Razak Issahaku has shaded Stonebwoy by mocking his “afro dancehall” term in a recent interview with Amansan Krakye.

Talking on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM, Iwan Suhyini disclosed that the dancehall he introduced in Ghana years ago has changed and most of the current dancehall songs sound like afrobeats.

“Most of our dancehall songs here in Ghana are sounding like afrobeats and they now call it afro dancehall,” Iwan Suhyini shades Stonebwoy.

He added “So the dancehall I introduced in Ghana has changed a bit because if you listen to a song like who’s bad you’ll feel the real dancehall in there.

Meanwhile, controversial entertainment journalist, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has revealed that he disagree with the choice of Epixode as Reggae Dancehall Artiste of the Year at the VGMA22.

Iwan Suhyini continued “Well Dancehall music is always Dancehall although sometimes it can go through some changes.

“Ours have gone through some changes and all we are trying to do is to make it acceptable here by our people,” he concluded.
