If I were you, I’d be concerned about NPP’s Akan-dominated delegates than anything else – Inusah Fuseini to Bawumia
Former Member of Parliament for Tamale Central Inusah Fuseini has asked the Vice President of Ghana to focus on his Presidential ambition and not tout the records of the current President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
According to him, as it stands, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has no record to his name and will have to work on himself and focus on his ambition if he wants to lead the Akan dominated New Patriotic Party in 2024.
“I think that Dr. Mahamud Bawumia first of all should be thinking about whether or not the NPP will allow him to be their flagbearer for 2024 elections. That should be the most important thing he should be considering now because of the heavily influenced Akan nature of the NPP.
Whether all the things he said they have achieved whether the NPP will have confidence in him to let him lead their party .that should be the first thing he should be considering” Inusah Fuseini said in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com.
The former Roads and Highways Minister has in the past said he was invited to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s bid to lead the NPP and subsequently become President of Ghana but he declined indicating that when John Dramani Mahama wanted to be President he was not supported by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia who is a Northerner.
