Sulley Muniru signs for Belarusian side FC Minsk

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder, Sulley Ali Muniru, has signed a ten-month deal with Belarusian top-flight side, FC Minsk, on a free transfer.

The 28-year-old mutually terminated his contract with Asante Kotoko SC about a month ago after an unsuccessful short stint with the Ghanaian giants.

The club confirmed the signing of Muniru in a statement on their official website. It’s his second spell at the club.

He has previously played for Romanian top division sides, CFR Cluj and Steaua Bucharest, and Portuguese club, CD Tondela.

He also had spells at Yeni Malatyaspor in Turkey and PFK Tambov in Russia.
