Kofi Akpaloo gives full account of his IPAC ‘karate’ with Hassan Ayariga
Founder and Leader of the Liberal Party of Ghana, Kofi Apaloo, has explained the what prompted media reportage of him being in a fight with colleague founder and leader of the All People’s Congress, Hassan Ayariga at the just ended Inter-Party Advisory Committee meeting.
He denied there was a fight between them contrary to media reports. He spoke on Adom FM’s Dwaso Nsem monitored by MyNewsGh.com.
“What truly happened was that Mr. Ayariga, while making his submission, got into a little confrontation with some leaders at the meeting. So I started to record what was taking place, but his secretary later approached me to tell me to stop recording which I immediately did. I didn’t fight him at the meeting, those are lies,” he noted.

Mounting a defense, Mr. Apaloo said with the exception of representatives from the media, there were no standing orders barring him or other members from filming proceedings of the meeting, so he saw nothing wrong with taking a video of his ‘friend’ Ayariga.
Reports indicated that the fight started with verbal exchanges between Mr. Apaloo and his counterpart Mr. Ayariga. The verbal exchanges escalated ending in a near bloodbath.
