It is common knowledge some persons marry based on the recommendations of either their friends, parents or relations but later regret ever going into such a union.

The Pastoress is however warning that the man or woman should do due diligence before agreeing to marrying the person recommended for him or her because when problems arise, he or she will be the only person to deal with them

In a televised broadcast monitored by MyNewsGh.com, she said “Don’t let anyone push you into marriage… because if the person push you today, you will be the only one stuck in it. You will find them no more…those who pushed you, you will not find them. When it gets to the time your heart is broken, when your heart is bleeding , when you want to do everything to make the marriage work and one party is not ready, when you feel sadness in your heart, you don’t know how to explain to people that time it would be you alone in that situation”

She further warned that in such turbulent times, the answer is not divorce but only God’s intervention is required to remedy the situation.

“The answer is not divorce, the answer is God and patience. Deal with your challenges…deal with your challenges in your marriage. Fight till you get to the end, fight till you see you have won the battle. Deal with the bleeding heart and let God help you mend that heart”, she advised.

As a result, she is admonishing the younger generation against marrying just because the partner is rich or based on beauty and handsomeness.
