Nana Asempa Writes: ‘Social Media Users Will Never Stop Trolling Celebrities Until They Stop Attacking Themselves’

Most Ghanaian celebrities have been crying that they are being bullied online by some social media users. Sadly, these are true but these celebrities are the reason why they get themselves trolled on various platforms and that’s the fact.

Some of the things these celebrities post online for their followers to see there’s no way some of these followers will read or watch without reacting negatively against it.

I do remember that a few months ago, Moesha Buodong and Efia Odo started calling themselves ‘chickens and cows’ insulting themselves on social media every single day which I am sure they were not expecting their fans to continue from there.

However, Sister Derby and Fella Makafui also got themselves trolled on social media after Medikal, the womanizer dumped Derby for Fella bringing division among their followers.

Are these celebrities really aware that what they do, say or post online contribute to the majority of mockeries and negative talks we are seeing on social media?

Let me ask this when was the last time a Ghanaian heard or saw Shatta Movement fan teasing Stonebwoy or any Bhimnation fan trolling Shatta Wale? I can boldly say that there has never been anything like that after their bosses reunited and warned their fans.

Celebrities should stop bringing divisions among their followers and reduce the senseless posts they keep dropping online only if they are not ready for cyberbullying or whatever they call it.
