No more ‘dirty work’; I can also be a gentleman too – Ken Agyapong vows

New Patriotic Party (NPP) firebrand, Kennedy Agyapong has revealed that as part of activities to re-brand himself, he has ceased being rough and will adopt the gentility style of approach in his public discourse as done by leading members of his party, MyNewsGh.com reports.

According to him, he is not quitting politics as reported by a section of the media but will no longer go to radio or television stations to defend the party and descend to the galleries as was the case.

He disclosed that most of these visits to media houses to defend the party are always characterized by a huge number of persons queuing outside the premises to seek support in one way or the other from him.

“I have resolved that since NPP is charting the path of gentility, I will also be gentle henceforth so that everyone will see that Kennedy Agyapong, the other side of him shows that he can be a gentleman”, he revealed in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

Continuing he said “It does not mean I will not do party work. Chairman Marfo here is a party executive. Is he an MP but some of the things he does are more than what an MP will do. So if I am also joining Chairman Marfo I think we will still work. The Wednesdays and Tuesdays queues to see me will be non-existent and would bring some kind of relief to me”, he stressed.

The loudmouth politician said he is decoupling himself from the too much talking just to let Ghanaians appreciate and value the gentleman in him in order to restore his lost dignity.

“I am doing that so that anyone who wants to approach me will know that I am also a respectable person in society. If anyone needs help and comes, whatever I can offer I will but that does not imply I am quitting politics”, he stressed.

Mr. Kennedy Agyapong observed that his defense for the party has earned him gross disrespect even from within urging others to also take up the mantle and continue from where he left off.
