Ayawaso West by-election: One person allegedly shot dead, several injured – PHOTOS

Four people have been shot at the Baweleshie polling centre in the ongoing by-election in the Ayawaso constituency following an impasse over the polls.

Kasapa FM’s Gatusso reported of bloodstains being visibly splashed at the polling centre near the candidate of the opposition National Democratic Congress.

Some of the injured have reportedly been taken to the Achimota Hospital for treatment

Reports say the chaos was triggered by some individuals suspected of belonging to a vigilante group associated with the NDC while others say they belong rather to the ruling NPP.

GHANA: More gays hiding their sexuality because of stigmatization – Gay Man open ups

A Ghanaian homosexual, Alex Kofi Donkor says there are a number of his colleagues in Ghana but the hate in society has made it difficult for them to open up about their sexuality.
