A Plus in charge of 80% of medical supplies at KATH- Abronye reveals
Brong Ahafo Regional First Vice Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has alleged that controversial Ghanaian musician and a member of his party, Kwame Asare-Obeng popularly called A Plus is in charge of 80% of medical supplies at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.
“A Plus is now able to cross rivers into Kumasi to make supplies at KATH. Almost 80% of the KATH’s medical supplies are being carried out by A-Plus and somebody I would reveal later. People in the region would be shocked” he added.
He alleged that A Plus learnt his craft at Korle Bu and is now putting it into practice in Kumasi as well.
Mr. Mathias Owusu Kwame Baffoe alias Abronye DC made the allegations on Kumasi based-Abusua Fm Wednesday in an interview hosted by Kwame Adinkra the host and monitored by Mynewsgh.com.
Abronye DC’s comments were in response to the musician’s alleged defamatory comments made describing some top government officials as corrupt.
Though he has been asked by lawyers of the affected persons to retract and publicly apologise for his comments, the musician is adamant and indicates that it will be over his dead body to do such a thing and dared them to bring it on
Abronye DC, however, alleged that, because of the alleged corrupt nature of A Plus, he sometime in the past, managed to attend board meetings of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
“He is the special aide to the Chief Executive of the Hospital, hence if A Plus says everyone in government is corrupt then he is as well corrupt ”, Abronye fumed.
“Meanwhile constituency executives of the party and people who suffered for the party have not received such offers from the government”, He observed.
