Stormzy

Ghana came up blank on the night of the 2017 Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards held Wednesday night, but Nigeria was on hand to scoop up some awards for Africa.

Wizkid beat Jay-Z, Drake and Kendrick Lamar to pick up the Best International Act Award on the night, whilst Davido won the Best African Act award, pipping Sarkodie to the honour.

But the night belonged to UK Grime Act Stormzy (real name Michael Kwadjo Omari Owuo, Jr), who picked up 3 awards as his stellar 2017 was given the recognition it deserves.
