Here is why GFA has banned Bofoakwa Tano

Image
The Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association has ordered a temporary ban on Bofoakwa Tano FC from using the Sunyani Coronation Park as its home venue with immediate effect. This decision has become necessary due to the unfortunate incidents that occurred after the matchday 11 match between Bofoakwa Tano FC and Nsoatreman FC played on November 19, 2023. The decision is in accordance with the GFA Premier League Regulations Article 14(2) which states inter alia “the GFA may order the closure of any league centre where the safety of clubs, Match Officials or Spectators cannot be guaranteed.”’ The Competitions Department is therefore advised to determine the venue for the Club’s subsequent home matches in accordance with Article 14(3) Premier League Regulations. The Communications Director for Ghana’s opposition party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi, believes that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government has always been about slogans. He believes that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government does not believe in putting in the work to assuage the pain of the Ghanaian people and ensure that they live better lives. Bawumia’s win as NPP flagbearer a good omen for Mahama in 2024 polls – Rex Omar

Rex Owusu Marfo popularly referred to as Rex Omar in the showbiz industry has touted Dr. Bawumia’s win in the presidential primaries as a good omen. He told Amansan Krakye on Property FM in Cape Coast that Dr. Bawumia’s perceived lack of credibility will make it easy for former president Mahama to win the 2024 elections. The music rights activist and staunch supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) said they thank God for Bawumia’s win in the presidential primaries. Rex Omar sarcastically said “If the NPP have voted for Bawumia as their parliamentary candidate we have to thank God for that. He remarked as MyNewsGh.com observed, “Because most Ghanaians know that Bawumia has no credibility so it’s even good for us in the NDC”. Many people have predicted an interesting contest in the 2024 elections as both the NPP and NDC have settled on candidates from the northern part of Ghana. Adblock test (Why?)
