Controversial Instagram socialité Rosemond Brown popularly known as Akuapem Poloo has said that she wants to become a Medical Doctor in future. According to the video vixen who’s 29-year-old, it has always been her dream to become a Doctor. However, her dreams switched when people started saying she looks like late actress Suzzy Williams which made her to change her mind to become an actress. She continued that when she entered into the Secondary School at New Tafo Koforidua, she became very active in all entertainment-related programs until she completed. Currently, she is very active with acting, music, and modeling for event organizations as well. As to when she will be going back to school, she said that she will like to go anytime soon, but because she is a single mother she is facing a bit of financial challenges so anyone who is willing to help her achieve her dreams is welcome. Many celebrities have quit acting to propagate the gospel. The most recent celebrity to join the wagon is Kumawood actor Bernard Nyarko. Bernard Nyarko says he received the holy call last year December. He has since taken the preaching of the gospel seriously. According to him, he declined a role offered to him by Kofi Asamoah because he felt it would hinder his evangelical work. He said; “Recently, Kofi Asamoah called me as he intended to cast me in the Away Bus movie but I was busy preaching. Now my pastoral or evangelical work is more important to me than acting. My preaching appointment is more than the acting appointment,” he added that; ”I’m not an ordained pastor but I can preach like the pastors anytime I’m behind the pulpit and God knows that, on 20th December last year, I was in the room, I couldn’t move…God arrested me and told me to preach the gospel”‘ he said. We wish him all the best in his ministerial endeavours.

Legendary Ghanaian high life musician, Rex Omar has revealed that he stopped going to church because he doesn’t want to be a sinner and a hypocrite. Speaking with Deloris Frimpong Manso on her popular television show; The Delay Show, the now president of GHAMRO (Ghana Music Rights Organisation) revealed that he stopped going to church since 1997 regardless of the fact that he has been an active member of Assemblies of God. “I believe if I had continued to go to Church I would have been a hypocrite, a bad person and a sinner,” he said. According to the musician, most people pretend to be good Christians but you later find out that you are even far better than them and this takes away your direct relationship with God. He added that the church makes people narrow-minded in their thinking because there are so many unanswered questions about the bible that when you ask pastors, they make it look like a taboo claiming the bible is silent about it. Young Kumawood actress Clara Benson popularly known as Maame Serwaa is making headlines for refusing to compromise her Christian morals for film roles that demand she blur the boundaries between fantasy and reality. According to the actress who stated that she will not hesitate to convert to Islam to marry a Muslim man for love in an interview with Kobby Kyei noted that she does not accept kissing roles. Christened Clara Benson, 20, a proud member of the Assemblies of God church also indicated that she has vowed never to act romantic roles and if any movie would require that she got intimate with a colleague actor she would reject the offer. She insisted that no amount of money would make her compromise on her principles, adding that “I don’t accept kissing roles in movies”. Maame Serwaa has denied vehemently rumours that she’s warming the bed of her colleague Bill Asamoah, and maintained claiming that she is living a chaste life to please her late mother.
