The University of Cape Coast (UCC) School of Agriculture has acquired fifteen acres of land at Twifo Wamaso to cultivate maize in response to government’s “Planting for food and Jobs” programme. Consequently, the development of the Twifo Wamaso land into a research and commercial wing of the School of Agriculture is also underway. The Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof Joseph Ghartey Ampiah revealed this at the second to fourth sessions of the 51st congregation to graduate 2017/2018 students who have completed successfully.
